Northern Circuit route - 9 days

About the route
The Northern Circuit Route is the longest route on Kilimanjaro taking 9 days in total. The longer duration offers climbers a high chance of summit success due to the extra time for acclimatisation.
The route initially follows the Lemosho route on the Western side of the mountain to the Shira plataeu before heading north to join the Rongai route to climb to the summit from the Eastern side. Climbers will descend via the Mweka route.
If you’re looking for beautiful scenery, solitude, challenge, and the potential to spot wildlife, this is definitely the route for you. The combination of multiple routes offered varied scenery on your route the the summit.
