Marangu route - 5 or 6 days

About the route
The Marangu Route is one of the most popular routes, offering a unique and more comfortable trekking experience compared to other routes. The ascent is gradual making it the least physically demanding of all routes so it is well-suited for those who prefer a less strenuous climb, as it follows a steady path with fewer steep inclines.
One of the key features of the Marangu Route is that it is the only route that offers hut accommodation each night, so climbers can avoid camping and experience greater levels of comfort. The route offers stunning view of the mountain with varied landscapes including lush rainforests and alpine meadows.
The trek can be completed in 5 or 6 days, although it is strongly recommended to take the 6 day option to improve acclimitisation and increase chance of summit success. While the route is considered less challenging, the summit push is still a serious undertaking, requiring determination and resilience.
